Understand before treating
Hair diagnosis begins with a medical assessment. The doctor listens to the changes you have noticed, reviews their evolution and examines the hair and scalp.
Digital trichoscopy makes it possible to observe enlarged structures that cannot be assessed in the same way with the naked eye. The images support the diagnosis and help explain on screen what is being observed.
With this information, the doctor can tell you which options are worth studying, which do not fit your situation and what next step is reasonable. The recommendation is presented clearly and without pressure.
Digital trichoscopy
Magnified observation of the hair, follicles and scalp.
On-screen explanation
The doctor shares what he observes so you can understand your situation.
Plan and estimate
Where appropriate, the next steps and an individual estimate are prepared.
When to request an assessment
These situations do not allow a diagnosis on their own. They help identify when it may be useful to review the hair and scalp with medical criteria.
You notice more shedding than usual, a recent change or a pattern you do not know how to interpret.
The hair looks finer, with less volume or with more visible separation between areas.
You notice recession, changes in the crown or sparse areas and want to know which options may be studied.
You are considering mesotherapy or a hair transplant, but there is not yet a diagnosis to justify an indication.
You have already had treatment or need to compare the starting point with the current situation.
The first in-person assessment is free and allows the case to be understood before proposing any treatment.
Claudia welcomes you, collects the initial information and organises the consultation with the doctor.
Dr Gustavo Mazariegos reviews the changes you have noticed, their evolution and the relevant background for the consultation.
The hair and scalp are examined, trichoscopy is performed and photographs are recorded to document the starting point.
The doctor explains the findings on screen. Where appropriate, a proposal is prepared and Claudia coordinates the estimate, appointments and next steps.
Real cases
The block is prepared to show authorised mesotherapy and hair transplant cases whose plan began with a hair assessment and trichoscopy.
The cases correspond to specific people and cannot predict another person's diagnosis, indication or progress.
